Could not connect to the database (1 reply)

Hi
I downloaded The last version from your website. When I am going to configure the database, this message appear"Could not connect to the database. Connector returned number: Could not connect to MySQL.".
Could you please inform me how can I fix it?

I know this is Off the Topic here.. but I really need to know how to fix this.. I'm trying to install FluxCP in latest WAMPSERVER that I installed, I'm having an error..

Error: Flux_Error
Message: Critical MySQL error in Installer/Updater: Invalid default value for 'reg_date'
File: D:\wamp\www\rAthena\lib\Flux\Installer\Schema.php:131

Enabling sqlite php extension. (3 replies)

I disabled the sqlite extension for testing when I re-enabled the extension the WAMP tray error icon is still appearing.

Sorry,

The 'sqlite3.dll' extension file exists but there is no 'extension=sqlite3.dll' line in php.ini.

I use Debian servers, which currently offers the 2.4.10 version of Apache.

I search in the addons folder, but I not found this version of Apache.

Is there any place where I can download?

or

is there any way to adapt the Apache 2.4.10 on Wamp?

Hello, so I was running wamp just fine. Did a few projects on wordpress with it, everything is going great. Then I opened up phpmyadmin today and tried to go and create a new database it gave me the following error on login

"You should upgrade to MySQL 5.5.0 or later."

I don't see where this came from as it was running fine before and it is actually running mysql 5.7.1.1

How do I resolve this so I can recover my projects and also work on more. Again this happened totally randomly when I opened it today and I didn't update anything relating to WAMP.

Unique 1045 Error (2 replies)

Hello,
I have two instances of mysql on my computer- so I had to change the mysql port on WAMP.
I successfully changed WAMP from 3306 to 3309. I modified the port values on my.ini, config.inc.php, php.ini. Cleared browser cache. And the 1045 Error which was showing went away.

Now I can access phpmyadmin ok - I can browse through, create db and all.

Now here is the main problem:
from within my code I have a db connection script which does a simple mysqli_connect(localhost, root, '', mydb1); call, but it keeps returning a 1045 Access denied for user root@localhost Error.

However, as I said earlier, I can open phpmyadmin on the browser. Any help will be really appreciated.

Hi, I'm an Spanish user and my english is very low, but I will try to describe my problem.

I'm using Wampserver 3.0.6 64bit in a Windows 10 pro 64 bits version.

Apache v. 2.4.23
PHP v. 5.6.25
MySQL v. 5.7.14

The color of the Wampserver is orange, because Apache can't start.

I don't have any error log on the Wampserver, but in Windows, on the event viewer, I take the following error message:

The Apache service named reported the following error:
>>> AH00526: Syntax error on line 249 of C:/wamp64/bin/apache/apache2.4.23/conf/httpd.conf: .


I hope you can fix the problem.

I have installed Wamp for the first time ever for a college course on my computer running Windows 10 and the icon in the system tray is always orange. I asked my prof about this and he directed me to this page to resolve it:

But after trying all the solutions posted there it still isnt working.
And yes my port 80 is open and free and i am not running skype, not sure what else to try.
Btw when i hover over the icon it says 1 of 2 services running

WampServer Your Project folder showing wrong url (1 reply)

I copy all wordpress files to paste Buddha folder which is as url C://wamp64/www/Buddha. I create a database which named Buddha clicking in localhost/phpmyadmin/ but when I have in localhost page and I click into Your Projects Buddha folder then it opening [Buddha] instead of localhost/Buddha/.

Please solve the problem and tell me what I am wrong.

I run wampserver and wordpress latest version. From [www.phpmyadmin.net] I recent download "phpMyAdmin-4.6.4-all-languages" but I don't know how to utilized the folder has included lots of files and folders. Where should stay this folder to get output anything.

Hello.

Is there a way to change your wamp server URL to something different than "localhost:PORTNUMBER"

I have tried a tutorial here [stackoverflow.com] but it doesn't work.

I did everything correctly. But when I try to access my URL it doesn't work.

So is there any other way to change my URL?

Or maybe it's just impossible to do?

Web pages on other LAN machines running Apache are visible to browsers on other LAN machines. That's a requirement of ours. It's not workable for us to have to create a new virtual host for each new page, or folder.

We have a laptop running WAMP 2.5. Setting it "online" with the WampServer menu, which puts "Require all granted" in the <Directory> section, does NOT give browsers on other LAN machines access to pages hosted by WAMP.

It's not a firewall issue. It's not a general LAN issue.

How do we provide LAN access to this WAMP machine's web pages without virtual host complications?

Trouble logging in to localhost. (1 reply)

I have recently installed WampServer 3.0.6 on my 64-bit laptop running Windows 10 Pro. Wampserver launches with no issue and the icon is in green. The issue I have is that no matter what I do, I can never login to my localhost site the first few tries. I have made sure Skype is not runnning and tested ports 80 and 3306, but the problem persists - I just can't seem to login to my site's dashboard. Even after making sure my username (and I've tried using email instead of username) and password are correct, it just refreshes to the login page with the password field empty.

Is anyone having the same issue? Does anyone know what I can do to overcome this issue?

Hi,

I am new to WAMPSERVER and I seem to have made a mistake installing. I did install WAMPSERVER and it runs properly but I also installed MYSQL57 afterwards. So MYSQL57 starts up with the machine. If I start the WAMPSERVER it stays orange.

Is there a way to tell the WAMPSERVER that I want it to use MYSQL57 instead of wampmysqld?

For now I can get around the issue by stopping MYSQL57 and using WAMPMYSQLD.

Should I just uninstall MYSQL57?

What is best to do at this point.
